TYPEFACE DEVELOPMENT - WONDERBLY

When creating a customisable book (Your Big Wedding Day) for wedding gifting, the Wonderbly team had a custom font they wanted to use alongside the beautiful illustrations (by Qian Shi) but it needed some tweaks for clarity. The font was going to be used for the body text but also the customisable elements like names and initials, so legibility was key. It also needed to keep it’s cute and quirky feel to sit seamlessly with the artwork.

I reworked the entire alphabet, adding foreign characters and numbers, in a vector format so that the team could work their tech magic and turn it into a working typeface.
